Career and College planning
Cedar Tree Academy's career and college planning services are designed to help students chart efficient and cost-productive paths for earning a four-year college degree or for going into a career of their choice. With these services, most students can reduce their time and cost for earning a college degree by up to 50%.
Most career assessments examine just one or two areas. Career Direct® examines four essential components of career selection: personality, interests, skills, and values. As a result, Career Direct is one of the most comprehensive guidance systems on the market today [from careerdirect-ge.org].
Part of our career planning service includes the Career Direct® test developed by Crown Financial Ministries*. The results of this assessment are used to chart a career path, providing students with clear direction regarding their future educational and occupational choices.

Our college planning service instructs students as to what college credits they may earn through the College Level Examination Program (CLEP®) and which credits they must earn by taking online or on-site college courses.
In general, students of all ages can earn two years' worth of college credits by passing 33 CLEP® exams on various subjects. These credits are accepted by over 2900 colleges and universities.
